Does anyone have any policy documents they would be willing to share about their processes re when is it not economically feasiable to maintain recycled bathlifts, hoists, profiling beds etc.
I'm currently undertaking an exercise looking at when it is no longer cost effective to purchase parts to keep high value items of equipment going around in the system. Obviously this type of kit may be out of loan for many years before it comes back into stores or needs a replacement part to be provided. Also, the manufacturer warranty has long since lapsed.
I've been asked to establish what practices other services are adopting?? Any help / information would be gatefully appreciated.
Thanks. Denise
